    Mission 

    The mission of the Transportation Department is to provide safe, reliable, respectful and efficient transportation for all passengers, and to ensure continuous improvement through training and communication with all employees.
     
    Our primary purpose is to transport students to and from school safely, efficiently and dependably, to provide the highest quality of support for the educational programs by delivering the best possible transportation services.

    Who Can Ride a Deer Valley Unified School District Bus?

    The Deer Valley Unified School District Transportation Department offers transportation services for:
    • Kindergarten - students who live over 1/2 mile from school.
    • Grades 1-6 - students who live over 1 mile from school.
    • Grades 7-8 - students who live over 1 1/2 miles from school.
    • Grades 9-12 - students who live over 1 3/4 miles from school.

     

    It is our goal to provide a safe, efficient pupil transportation service. To accomplish this goal, there are responsibilities and rules for students, parents, and staff. We also have set expectations for a successful ride on a аÄÃÅÁùºÏ²Ê¹ÙÍø bus. Parents, please become familiar with the rules and procedures, and discuss them with your children. Thank you!
